Equipped is a 7-week series for new moms; dates for our upcoming session are:

October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, and November 5 and 12.

What is Equipped?
Equipped is a ministry that serves to support and encourage new mothers, with babies 0-12 months old, by bringing them into community with other women and equipping them in motherhood with God’s wisdom, as it is revealed to us through scripture and the Church.
 
What are meetings like?
Each meeting focuses on a particular area in life that is significantly impacted upon entering the vocation of motherhood and includes fellowship, breakfast, a guest speaker, and small group discussion.
 
Who can attend?
Registration is open to any new mother with a child(ren) between the age of newborn to 12 months old. The earliest stages of motherhood can be the most isolating, as well as an intensely demanding time of personal growth. Equipped is designed to best serve the needs of a mother in this stage.

Should I bring my baby?
Please do! This ministry is built to be a happy place for both mother and baby.  We try our best to have an environment that is baby friendly!  During the in-person meetings, volunteers will be available to assist you in whatever you might need (holding baby, diaper changes, bottle feedings, playing, etc.).  We are here for you! However, if it works out better for your baby to be with someone else during Equipped (or in childcare if you are taking off work to join us), that is great too!  We would love to have you either way!
