Although, the civil war in Vietnam ended over 25 years ago, the impact and damages are beyond imagination. War-torn Viet Nam has tried hard, but still has a long way to go in its rebuilding process. One of the most significant needs, which often gets neglected, is education for minority children. The hill tribes or "Montagnard" people in the highland regions live in extreme poverty without the opportunity to pursue a better life. Founded by Father Vang in 1998, the Foundation works with local religious organizations to provide food, health care, clean water systems and education scholarships for impoverished Montagnard families living in isolated villages in the Central Highlands of Vietnam.
