Preparation is a typically a 9 to 12 month process*

• If you are in a civil union (marriage outside the Church) with no previous marriages, you will have two options to marry in the Church.
• If you are in a civil union (marriage outside the Church) and you and/or your spouse has a previous marriage, please speak with Elisa.

• Fee for a private wedding: $500 Parishioner / $2000 Non-Parishioner.  The wedding date cannot be confirmed until this fee is paid.
• Wedding at, just before, or after a public Mass: No Charge.
• Additional fees:
  • Music Director: $250
  • Cantor: $125
  • Wedding Coordinator: $150
  • Altar Servers: $20 each - cash only
  • Clergy: An honorarium is customary; amount at the discretion of bridal couple.
    

• Private Weddings can take place on Fridays, between 3-6PM and on Saturdays, either at Noon or 6PM (1st Sat. - 6PM Only)
• Wedding Ceremonies at, just before, or after a public Mass can take place at almost any daily or weekend Mass.
• Weddings are not scheduled during the period between Christmas Eve and January 1, or between Ash Wednesday through Divine Mercy Sunday (the Sunday after Easter). There are also other Liturgical Events or Parish Wide Events which preclude scheduling a wedding on certain days.
• Rehearsals usually take place on Friday evening (schedule with Susan Schabel)
• St. Philip does not offer a venue for receptions.
