What are "Special Project Volunteers"?
The Special Project Volunteers at St. Philip are a dedicated group of parishioners who offer their time talent and treasure to support a variety of endeavors throughout the year. From setting up events to assisting with community outreach efforts, these volunteers play a vital role in keeping our parish welcoming, vibrant, and active within our local communities. Their flexibility, generosity and willingness to serve wherever needed are a direct reflection of the disciples who went out when the Lord called them. This group is open to anybody who feels called to help our parish and community in a meaningful and intentional way!
Emails will come out whenever opportunities are available, and you choose when and if you can help! Some of the openings will be adults-only, but we often have family-friendly projects as well! Because we know you are busy, there are many opportunities throughout the month for you to give donations and participate in our service opportunities in that way! There is no commitment or expectation on our end for you to show up on a regular basis, although we would love to have you as often as possible. Completion of Safe Environment is required before participating in any volunteer opportunity at St. Philip! Click here for more info!
