    Lenten Mission Mondays
    March 9, 16 & 23
    • Our Lenten Mission will be offered over three consecutive Mondays in Lent.  Each evening of our Mission will offer the opportunity for renewal through Word and Sacrament, prayer and reflection.

Our Mission Mondays begin with a dinner and Lenten reflection.  The meal and discussion will close about 5:45 PM, leaving plenty of time to fast and prepare for Mass.  At 6 pm, we will gather in the Church for the Angelus and the Rosary, followed by Mass.  The Mission will close with Adoration, during which Confessions will be offered.

Please join us for Mass and one or more of the Mission events:

      Mission Monday Reflection
Redemption: The Events of the Passion
Our Lord's greatest activity on earth was the Passion, a time when it appeared as though He was taking no action at all and bearing unimaginable suffering:  the bitter Agony and betrayal of Gethsemane, the harsh scourging and crowning with thorns, and the final ending in crucifixion and slow death.  But it was in these hours that Christ won the redemption of an entire world.  His Passion touches all time and all people, and is made present to us in this day and age at each and every Mass.  Lent and Holy Week offer us special opportunities to reflect deeply on these events and our response to them in our own lives as faithful Catholics.  Join us for a series of presentations on the Passion as we prepare to commemorate the solemn events of our salvation once more.
